A special hello to all our regulars! Lots of you often want big boxes of your favorites to take back to your offices or homes. Sometimes lately, we’ve already run out of some of those favorite treats for the day by the time you get there. What to do! We want you to have all the treats you crave. If you’d like, you can pre-order exactly what you want to pick up from the truck. That way, you are sure to get all the Jammys, Dots or Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies you want! Just email or call in your request the day before, and we’ll pack up a box for pick-up. Hurray for treats.
On Tuesdays we are usually on the corner of 38th and 5th but it seems today it is blocked off. Don’t despair! You’ll find Sugar, our beloved truck, just down the street in the middle of the block on 38th Street between 5th & Madison Aves.

On April 25th, WABC’s Neighborhood Eats featured the Treats Truck on the 5 o’clock news. So many customers came up to tell us they saw it! This week, The Treats Truck is on NYC TV Channel 25 on Eat Out alà Kelly, with Kelly Choi. She is welcome to have a job on the truck anytime…and all the Espresso Brownies she wants!
March 20th is the first day of Spring. Hurray! We look forward to Spring and all it has in store. We love taking our truck out when the weather is good, with lots of yummy seasonal and holiday treats, as well as our Standards. Need some Easter or Passover treats or a box just ’cause? Give us a call! We can always deliver treats directly to you, or you can pick them up from the truck. Treats are good, treats are good, happy spring, have a great day, treats are good.
Saint Patrick’s Day is almost here. Our treats want to get in the spirit, and they are turning green right before our eyes! Frosted sugar cookies, rice crispy squares, cupcakes and Trucker sandwich cookies are proudly sporting green sprinkles and frosting. Want some lucky treats? Order up a box or drop by the truck! We can deliver on Monday, March 17th to your offices and homes for orders placed by March 16th.

We are nominated for “Best Mobile Food”! We are so excited to be nominated. There are lots of great food and drink spots up for all of the awards. It has been fun having customers come up to the truck and be excited about voting! We love TimeOut. Want to vote? You can go online and fill out your ballot through March 9th!
Our truck, Sugar, will be on the Upper West Side March 1st to start the month. The first week of March, we will be at our favorite midtown spots, as well as the Village and Brooklyn. On Wednesday night, we will be by the Whitney Museum for the opening of the Whitney Biennial! (all are welcome to come by the truck for treats from 6pm-11:30pm). We have lots of Specials planned for the month, like the very popular Chocolate Trucker and the Mint Chocolate Trucker. Oh! And Lemony Lemon cookies, Saint Patrick’s Day specials and so much more. As many of you know, Sugar was in the repair shop recently. He is an old truck that runs on CNG (compressed natural gas). While we love that the truck runs on a cleaner fuel (we say he runs on compressed natural gas and chocolate!), it can make repairs and maintenance harder to figure out. For us, it is worth the effort. This past week, we loved being back on the streets and seeing all our customers, both our regulars and new treats fans, too. We thought he was all fixed-up, but it seems he needs a bit more work. We are taking him back to his repair shop for one more look. We hope to be back in a few days. If you have any treats needs in the meantime, give us a ring or send an email with your request. We deliver!

We are very excited to announce that we have been nominated for a 2008 EatOut Award by TimeOut New York magazine! The Treats Truck is one of the nominees for “Best Mobile Food.” We love TimeOut, so we are really thrilled. TimeOut New York was the very first to feature the Treats Truck when we launched our truck in June 2007. Since our launch last June, it has been a wonderful first year, and we look forward to the rest of our first full year and all the days, treats and years to come!
